
The US Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) has launched an updated version of its Food Fraud Database known as FFD 2.0 aiming to better track the problem of the food fraud.The database provides users information in food fraud and features a Hazard Identification Report generator to support compliance with FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act. In addition, the database fulfills aspects of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements by providing information on the pattern and history of adulteration and potential hazards of food adulterants.More information
