
USA: Decreased Assessment Rate for Pecans Grown in 15 States
This rule decreases the assessment rate established for the 2021-22 fiscal year and subsequent fiscal years. The assessment rate will remain in effect indefinitely unless modified, suspended, or terminated. It regulates the handling of pecans grown in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas.

This rule implements a recommendation from the Administrative Committee for pistachios to increase the assessment rate established for the 2021-22 and subsequent production years. It regulates the handling of pistachios grown in California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
