Among others, the new Regulation sets the following changes:
- Apricot kernels from Turkey (50% of control frequency for cyanide) is added to the list.
- Peanuts and peanut butter from the United States (10% of control frequency for aflatoxins) is added to the list.
- The control frequency of sulphites in dried apricots from Turkey will decrease from 20% to 10%.
The Regulation entered into force on July 26, 2019.
