China, Taiwan: MRLs Update

The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu notified the World Trade Organization of the Draft of Standards for Pesticide Residue Limits in Foods.The maximum residue limit (MRL) for boscalid and chromafenozide in peanut is set at 0.1 ppm and 0.5 ppm, respectively. The deadline for comments is May 13, 2017.In addition, as previously announced, the MRL for spiromesifen in prune at 2.0 ppm was adopted on March 15, 2017.For further information, please contact us at inc@nutfruit.org.
