2019 Pistachio Tour of Iran

Iran Pistachio Association has organized a Pistachio Tour of Iran to take place from ‪September 21 to 26, 2019. The purpose in preparing this tour was to introduce international pistachio producers, traders, manufacturers and customers to Iranian pistachio production, processing, domestic & foreign trade practices. The tour includes site visits to mature high-yielding as well as newly established pistachio orchards. Also included, are visits to fresh pistachio processing (post-harvest) in addition to dry processing of pistachio nuts. Participants in the tour will have the unique experience of visiting a green kernel processing operation where green peeled pistachio kernels are produced under the strictest hygienic conditions. The participants will also benefit from informed presentations on the latest status of the Iranian pistachio industry.
