
A total of 16,784 overweight adults from the American National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) were included in the study. Dietary habits were collected in order to evaluate the association between nut intake and markers of glucose/insulin metabolism and inflammation. And results observed that nut intake was inversely associated with inflammatory and glucose/insulin metabolism markers.
